We believe your data belongs strictly to you. The Zulu Time application operates locally on your mobile device:
- No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not ask for, collect, or store your name, email address, phone number, account credentials, or contacts.
- No User Data Tracking: We do not track your location, search history, or personal flight calculations.
- No Account Creation Required: You can use all features of Zulu Time without creating an account or logging in.
2. On-Device Local Data Storage
To provide offline accessibility and store your personal app settings, Zulu Time stores data locally on your device using secure local storage (MMKV / SQLite):
- Saved favorite airport codes and time converter records.
- Local user preferences (e.g., Light / Dark theme selection).
This data never leaves your device and is not synchronized with any external remote server.
3. Third-Party Services & Diagnostics
To ensure application stability and performance monitoring, the app uses standard Google Firebase SDKs:
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Anonymous, aggregated diagnostic data (such as app crash logs or device model information) may be processed strictly for identifying software bugs and performance improvements. No personal user data or identifiable markers are attached to these reports.
- Remote Config: Used solely to fetch non-sensitive feature flags and update notifications.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Because all user-entered data resides exclusively on your local device:
- You can clear all stored records at any time by clearing the application data in your device settings.
- Uninstalling the Zulu Time application completely removes all locally saved data from your device.
5. Children's Privacy
Zulu Time does not address or target anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
